One World" has been the labor of love for Charlie Case for the past 2 years. I am of course talking about Star Chronicles 4..the latest release in the Star Chronicles DVD series collection. Total time 43:37. Region free DVD that will play in any DVD player.

The opening title is "Embracer" with Valkir providing the sonic's. Forget any preconceptions you may have about Star Chronicles. This is the real deal and everything that has gone before has been honed to perfection in this release. Imagine yourself dreaming and flying across an alien landscape, mountain vistas, oceans and distant planets sinking below the horizon and you have the scene set in your mind. Now add to that some superb soaring guitar work by Valkir that just makes you want to turn that volume all the way up. Forget the New Age overtones from the earlier releases..this blasts straight into your room from the outset and is a great piece of guitar work by Valkir. For those that like their instrumental guitar solos with a passion then this is for you without no question of a doubt.
Track time 7:07

"In The Aftermath" with Jennifer Batten opens track 2. Just when you thought it was safe, Jen starts with another guitar driven track not unlike a certain Mr Dave Gilmour from a certain well known band. Having been mesmerized by the imagery from the first track you find yourself for a few moments while looking at a glittering diamond in the middle of a revolving see through ball. You are then transported to a massive checkered floor which slowly moves under you with a plethora of diamonds and underwater sea imagery passing you by and in the distance, a waterfall pours on the horizon. More amazing landscapes and sky effects dazzle you with their brilliance as the track comes to a close.
Track Time 5:56

Michael Sembello opens up track 3 "The Temple". Here a distant thunder storm rolls away in the distance with ambient synth and a native Indian chant that is slightly vocodered. Very meditational in mood this one. Here we get more mystical with the imagery with sculptures and temples adorning the Landscape. There is a meaning in all the symbolism flying around as well but you will have to ask Charlie on that one. For me it is a masterpiece of visionary entertainment and you will find your own meaning within the images portrayed here. Watch for the liquid gold dripping down ..amazing effect.!
Track Time 9:35

Track 4 - Galileo's Dream with Ambient Space Music provided by Amir Baghiri. This is one of the best space music scores with all those elements of drifty cosmic music we all know and love. The piece slowly fades in, pure white, like a dream you once had watching the world go by without a care in the world. All those moments when you've looked up at the night sky or those times when you've sat by the sea, looking out to the distant shore that isn't there. The video here perfectly sets the scene, mainly set in space with planets, satellites, distant nebula and fantastic visual planetary horizons covered in mist. Clouds drift above and below you like you were on another plane of existence. This is my favorite piece on the DVD.
Track Time 5:38

Futureman "What Then" arrives on track 5. Listen to the lyrics on this. Kinda explains everything about how the world may become if we don't change our ways. One World it is, it's all we have. Fitting visuals for this one.
Track Time 3:00

Michael Sembello opens up track 6 "Sacred Flight" with a jazzy little number whilst Charlie trips out on a mesmerizing set of kaleidoscope visions, bubbles, liquid and swirl spiragraph type visuals. The music changes pace to a more refined cosmic electronic piece and you are transported to some tropical underwater paradise with shoals of brightly colored fish with sea flora and fauna gently swaying to the undersea current. Music changes again to a gentle harp with bird song while you soar over islands suspended in mid air. What an imagination for sure.
Track Time 10:55

The last track is short at just around 1 min."Wireless Planet Power" Not quite sure what is going on here with this one. Another one for Charlie to explain I think. Revolving pyramid with a beacon of light for each face and below the power source.

If you like CGI generated visuals then this is for you. It will take you to your dreams end and back again in just under three quarters of an hour. If you thought the last 3 were exceptional then this is a ride you won't want to get off in a hurry. Combined with the musical talents of Valkir, Jennifer Batten, Michael Sembello, Amir Baghiri and Futureman you are in for a treat your eyes and ears will thank you for, for many years to come.
Charlie you're a genius! Nuff said. Little Universe
